My Food Place of the Week: Comptoir Libanais, Westfields London

This post marks the start of my London themed week of posts, of when I visited the amazing city of my birth for an amazing Veg Fest 2014 and visited some intriguing places.
One of those intriguing places was Westfields London, can you believe this is my first time there?! Whilst visiting Westfields, I tried out Comptoir Libanais and was pleasantly surprised. First of all, I was surprised at the sheer selection at the shopping centre and the fact that most of the places were also halal or at least dairy-free.

The selection was vast and there was cuisines such as Chinese, Lebanese, British, Indian, healthy and Japanese. We love Lebanese food because it is tasty but not full of spice and I love their spicy potatoes, so I couldn't wait to see how this restaurant compared to those that I had tried in Birmingham.

We chose the Chicken & Green Olive Tagine and the Chicken Taouk Wrap with Batata Harra & Hummus. To drink, I chose Roomana (pomegranate and orange blossom) and my mum chose Toufaha (apple, mint and ginger).
As you can see the meals and drinks were both presented nicely and tasted just as good. Me and my mum both enjoyed it and wish they had one of these restaurants in Birmingham. I can see this food hall becoming my favourite place in London.

Food - 5/5
Fantastic and I couldn't fault it.

There were many options for me, as I know that Lebanese food isn't too heavy on the dairy, one of the main perks of this cuisine.

Service - 5/5
Staff were able to give recommendations easily and you could tell they knew what they were talking about.

Cleanliness - 5/5
You can see the kitchen clearly and everything looked clean and tidy.

Perfect for a Londoner and easy to find with Westfields.

Value for Money - 5/5
Prices very good for the portions and the intricity of the dishes.
